BSCC Primitive Camps

Safari Camp and Wilderness Quest are our most unique and popular offering of on-campus camps. Campers sleep a short hike away from main camp, make some of their own meals, and have the opportunity to do things like canoeing/rafting, rock repelling, and all the adventure activities Butler Springs has to offer on campus.

Safari Camp

Stay in elevated huts in the woods, make meals over the fire, and spend most of your time in the great outdoors at Safari Camp. This camp is great for any kid that wants a more outdoorsy, small-camp experience. We offer one Safari Camp each week of camp, Safari Camp has become the favorite of many of our campers. There are offerings for 3rd-13th grades, as well as opportunities for parents (or parental figures) to camp with their children.

Mother/Daughter Safari (7-13 y.o. girls and mom): May 31-June 2 Emma Stuckey ($66)

         This safari camp will spend one night off campus to go white water rafting.

Wilderness Quest
