VIP Camp Buddy is a volunteer opprotunity for anyone 13+. VIP Camp is for people with physical and developmental disabilities who want to attend summer camp. Each VIP camper is assigned at least one Buddy for the week. VIP Camp Buddies help campers through out the week by offering encouragment, friendship, and support. They will help the dean and other leaders make sure the camp is running smoothly and campers are having fun and learning.
Being a VIP Camp Buddy IS NOT the same as being a typical camper. You are there to make sure the VIP campers are having the best week they possibly can. While you may have a chance to participate in some of the camp activites that are offered, VIP campers have first priority. Please contact BSCC is you have any questions. After you regiter as a buddy, BSCC will reach out to confirm you understand your responsibilities.
