Theme: The Good News
Key Verses: John 3:16-17
The theme for our week will be John 3:16-17. We will be learning and memorizing the good news that God has given us and applying it to our everyday lives, even when we are playing soccer! We will have devotionals every morning, discussion throughout the day, and campfire worship in the evening.
Good news, no prior soccer experience is needed for this week of camp! We welcome campers at all levels of play and are focused on improving your soccer skills and relationship with God. During the week we will focus on many aspects of soccer such as individual skills, small sided games like futsal, and we even play full sided 11v11 games. Our focus is on teamwork, communication and fun. While personal skill is important, a single player does not make a team, but it helps when everyone is working together to have fun.
If soccer is not the main concern for you, then do not worry! We have plenty of other camp activities scheduled like the Zip Line, Rock Wall, Big Swing, swimming, and crafts with Soccer Mom! If you ever need a break, I always enjoy going over and making a craft or two, getting a drink, and then getting back into the action.
All our staff loves Jesus, have a passion for soccer, and are thrilled to lead this week of camp. We look forward to getting to know each and everyone of you. We have all dedicated our lives to serving Christ and have spent countless hours playing soccer at various levels. We can't wait to meet you and have an awesome week together!
