Gus Denzik
Facilities Director
|
Gus Denzik has been a dean at Butler Springs since 1994 year and has been full time here since 2000. He was the 2016 CCL Mathews Wade Award recipient which recognizes outstanding service in Christian Camping. Gus and his wife, Valerie, raised three sons at camp and they are all in the Marine Corps serving our country. While his claim to fame is that he has been and still is a Challenge Course Professional, his real desire is to glorify God and grow the Kingdom. Gus loves to share and teach especially to young people and especially about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Thankfully his duties at Butler Springs encourage Gus to keep his Spiritual condition fit by using his gifts!
Chris Osborne
Retreat Coordinator
|
Chris graduated from Kentucky Christian University, married his lovely wife Christy, and then joined the Butler Springs staff all within three weeks in May of 2009. Chris has spent at least one week at a Christian Camp since the summer of 1991 and counts those precious moments as to why God has developed a passion for Christian Camping in his life today. Chris is married to a real life super hero--Christy--and father to two absolute precious daughters--Ainsley & Ayla. Some of his hobbies include state highpointing (30 completed), scuba diving (approximately 75 hours spent below sea level), traveling (whether by 4 wheels, 2 wheels or 2 feet), Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and an ice cold Coke!
